My sister mentioned that this feels like all of the work & energy she & others put out in the late 60s & early 70s has finally come to fruition. Watching the inaugural party and the inauguration itself (which put me to tears on more than one occasion) makes me believe she's right. We can do more than dare to dream again, it'll take some work, but dreams can and are coming true.

I just posted a blog on my profile that indicates my current state of mind (and heart). My eyes felt as if I'd been swimming in the ocean from the joyful salty tears. I've been a total mess for three days, but today, a beautiful lotus bloomed over the muck and its smell was the sweetest I've known in a long time.
My spirit is full.
