Why do you have a preference for your same gender?

I came across this ‘youtube’ vid and found it both insightful and emancipating about being gay, and just one of many answers with regards to having the preference for the same gender.

I will post this posting on other tribes that may benefit from the content of the videos.

    Thanks for the posting. Very interesting.

    I broadly agree with what she said. "Gay" - and all the assumptions and values that go with the word - is an artificial construct of our culture. Other cultures have other hang-ups. I heard a recording where Terence McKenna was saying that culture itself is the problem. Made a lot of sense to me.
